16 October 1327. Sheen.
Order to Edward of Windsor, duke of Aquitaine, earl of Chester, count of Ponthieu and Montreuil, son of the king, to deliberate with his council about the grant of the baylie of Saint-Emilion in the duchy to Bertran de Segur. If this may be done without prejudice to himself, then he should grant them to Segur for the term of three years, paying as much as was customarily paid before the war between the king of France and the king. Segur has requested the grant of the baylies for a six-year term, paying the constable of Bordeaux the farm established there, and the king wishes them to be granted for Segur's good service.

15 March 1331. Westminster. For certification.
Order to the seneschal of Gascony to obtain fuller information about the complaint of Arnaut de Durfort, kt, and certify under the king’s seal used in the duchy of what he is able to find, sending it together with this writ. Lately, in recompense for the damage that Durfort had sustained in the time of Edward II, late king of England, the king’s father in the wars in the duchy, and for his good service which he did to the king and his father, and in future will do, the king granted him in relief of his estate, and so that he could continue in the king’s service. Afterwards, by the assent of the prelates, earls and barons and others assembled in parliament at Westminster in the 5th year of the reign, the king granted Durfort 500m.st. of land and rent in the duchy, in place of the 300l., to be held by Durfort and his heirs forever. He accepts, however, that the property has not been delivered to Durfort, to his damage and manifest prejudice for which he requests remedy and the king wants to be certified of the reason why this has not been done.

Order to Oliver de Ingham, seneschal of Gascony, to do full and speedy justice to Pey Camparian, citizen of the city of Bordeaux, following the allegations made by Johan de la Treve, as ought to be done according to the fors and customs of the city. This is notwithstanding any order to the contrary sent to the seneschal on Treve’s behalf .
