Notes
Lord of Saint-Julien (in the commune of Ahaxe-Alciette-Bascassan, arr. Bayonne) and Sault (in the commune of Hasparren, arr.
Bayonne). He was granted the baylie of Labourd for life in April 1377. He seems still to be alive at the end of Richard II's
reign, and into the Lancastrian period when the question of the baylie of Labourd became a troublesome issue for the king.
However, in 1381, Lop and his son had procured a settlement that saw the baylie resumed into the king's hands to be farmed,
but with the sum paid by the farmer going direct to Saint-Julien and Johan, his son.
