Appointed, with his brother, to the office of holding, taking and executing all inquisitions, reports and other commissions, both civil and criminal by the seneschal or judges of Agenais in 1318, the office being revoked in 1319. Seneschal of the Landes (late Edw. II/early Edw. III). Lawyer, and confirmed as king's proctor in Gascony to pursue the king's and duchy's business on 12 July 1318. Durand had originally been appointed by Antonio Pessagno, seneschal of Gascony. Described as master, lord and knight at various times from 1318 onwards. Lieutenant of Guilhem de Toulouse, formerly treasurer of Agenais (1321). Lieutenant of Amaniu du Foussat, governor of the seneschal of Gascony, also termed lieutenant of the seneschal of Gascony. Co-lord of the castle of Colomiers.
