Notes

Castellan of Mauléon in the 1350s when he was cited by John de Chiverston, the then seneschal of Aquitaine, concerning the alleged extortion of albergades from the people of Soule. Another Ramon de Miossens was castellan under Edward II, but it seems unlikely they can be the same individual, especially since he seems still to be involved in the legal action in 1377.
