Notes

He is also noted as formerly being the lieutenant of Edward of Woodstock in a confirmation of 1358 Appointed again in 1362, when ships were being arrested for his passage. Seneschal of Gascony (1350s - 1 July 1361). In practice he seems to have held the office longer because Richard de Stafford, his replacement, never seems to have taken up the office. Letters were still being addressed to him on 26 October 1362.
