Notes

This Pey is referred to in the 1360s and 70s when his son Miqueu was still trying to recover his goods. Admiral of the King's fleet of Bayonne before 1338. Citizen of Bayonne (1340). Jurat and peer of Bayonne in 1341. Acting as mayor or viquer in the city at the king's request for the duration of the war in 1341. The period was an unhappy one with a lot of opposition to Poyanne as is clearly revealed in roll 53, and which led ultimately to his exile. Dead by 1345
