Notes
The ship of John Lisle, kt. He was serving with John Talbot, earl of Shrewsbury in 1453, it being detailed by Lisle in 1457.
The ship was apparently damaged by the cannon of the enemy. Lisle alleges that the damage was such that it could hardly get
back to England, and took two years to repair.
In 1458 Lisle received a further licence to go and trade in Aquitaine, Brittany and Normandy with the same ship.
