This individual crops up in royal service in England and Ireland, and was justiciar in Ireland in 1329, though it is not quite
clear if he is the same as the other John Darcy who there is an entity for, who was also justiciar, but in 1324. It is not
entirely clear what 'le Cosyn is supposed to signify, though there is a John Darcy 'le Neveu' at the same time in the patent
rolls.
