Notes

The 3rd baron of Drayton, his son, also Ralph, died in about 1335, and he was succeeded on his own death in 1343, by his grandson, another Ralph, then about 8 years old. One of the keepers of the ports and coast in Shropshire, Staffordshire and Lancashire in 1337 and 1338. Re-appointed seneschal 21 July 1324. Seneschal of Gascony appointed 11 June 1323, and removed by 15 March 1324. Ordered to deliver the office to Richard de Grey on 1 April 1324. Of Drayton Bassett, described as 'the elder' in 1337 (fl. Edw. II and early Edw. III, d. 1343).
