Acting as an attorney for Thomas de Felton in 1375. Receiving attorneys in 1372. Kt., apparently active in Gascony for the following years (fl.1359-1375). Mayor of Bordeaux in January 1362. Going to Gascony by the king's order, in his service, and staying there in the company of Edward of Woodstock in 1360. Staying in Gascony in the king's service in 1362. Staying there in 1363, 1365 and 1366. Going there in 1368, and staying there in 1369. Acting into 1370s. In 1361 and 1363 recorded as having formerly been Arnold Savage, lieutenant of the seneschal of Gascony. Further entries specify the seneschal as John de Chiverston. In January 1362 he was still acting as lieutenant, though Chiverston was no longer seneschal.
