An entry dating to 24 December 1334 indicates that Greysouthern was acting as constable of Bordeaux following the death of Travers, at the behest of Oliver de Ingham, the seneschal of Gascony. It seems likely that if he was acting in this capacity, and was Travers' executor, he might well have been Travers' deputy as constable before this. Executor of the testament of John Travers, constable of Bordeaux, acting late in 1334.
